Building a Sauce and Dip Menu That Lifts Every Dish

Sauces and dips are small in cost but big in impact. A good dip can lift an ordinary plate of fries, and a signature sauce can become the reason a customer returns.
Cover the basics first
- A reliable tomato ketchup and a classic mayonnaise.
- A cheesy dip and a spicy dip for fries, nachos and snacks.
- A pasta and pizza sauce base: tomato-based and creamy options.
- A few dressings for sandwiches, wraps and salads.
Add signature flavours
Once the basics are set, add a few flavours that suit your cuisine, such as tandoori mayo, peri peri, chipotle style, garlic or mint. One or two unique sauces are enough to give your menu its own identity.
Single-serve vs. bulk
Bulk packs work best for kitchens that prepare dishes to order. Single-serve sachets, cups and blister packs suit takeaway and delivery, where portion control and hygiene matter.
Cross-use to control stock
Choose sauces that can be used in more than one dish. A cheese dip can top fries, fill a wrap and finish a baked pasta, which means fewer items to stock and less waste.
See our Veeba and Del Monte ranges for the complete list, including pasta and pizza sauces, dips, spreads and single-serve packs.
